Cricket Wireless

CRICKET WIRELESS

I created always-on content for Cricket Wireless as well as content to support tentpole events, including WWE, the Cricket Celebration Bowl, and the partnership with the Green Lady of Brooklyn.

“Chief Color Officer” Series

If you know Cricket Wireless, you know that it’s all about the green. For a week on Cricket’s socials, we did a content takeover with Elizabeth Sweetheart, AKA the Green Lady of Brooklyn, who gave us an inside look at her green lifestyle.

I was hands-on with this initiative from start to finish—I built the creative wrapper around the mini series, developed video concepts, filmed and interviewed Elizabeth, and edited the final videos for in-feed and stories.

They were the top performing posts of the year, earning 4M views and over 210K likes across Instagram and TikTok.

Acorns Partnership

To promote Cricket’s sign-on bonus with Acorns, I created this man on the street style video, integrating humor and strategic insights to make the informative content feel more social-native.

I created the concept for this video, wrote the script, appeared as talent with some of my unwitting coworkers, and edited the piece according to client feedback, being sure to incorporate all the information it was required to have according to the legal guidelines.

Cricket Celebration Bowl

In my first week of Cricket content creation, I traveled to Atlanta for the annual Cricket Celebration Bowl, the HBCU championship football game in Mercedes-Benz Stadium. I filmed several pieces and edited them on site during the game so they could populate in the feed before the hype died down.

For this piece, we found attendees who were repping their HBCU pride in the Cricket fan zone activation. Championships may come and go, but fit checks are forever.

Sketch Style Content

I’m always excited when a brand is willing to integrate humor into their social content, so this sketch was an especially fun opportunity.

This video was a true one-man-band operation: I created the concept, wrote the script, filmed myself as every character, then edited it in Premiere.

I would have loved the opportunity to do more serialized content featuring “Old Phone” as a character—she’s got a certain je ne sais quoi.
